Let Go....

When in a troubled relationship, as we once identified ourselves as, the most appropriate choice to make is to seek out professional counseling, read about couples that went through what you are going through, and educate yourself on what a marriage/relationship needs in order to thrive, not just survive. This article is titled "Let Go.." because attachment is an ever-present issue in many relationships, between parents and children, siblings, co-workers, relatives, friends, etc.

Imagine yourself at the bottom of a mountain and eager to climb it, because at the top is the digestion of success, the healthy state of happiness, and the mastering of good habits and discipline. Now ask yourself, is success, happiness, good habits, and discipline waiting for me up there? I just need to think of mountain-climbing as easy and nothing-to-it. WRONG! Digestion means after you ate your fruit and vegetables can you digest success, it requires work to reach a healthy state, and to master anything practice must be in place.
  • Enjoy your success now, no matter how small
  • Focus on your happy moments
  • Practice good habits
  • Discipline starts now
To reach the top gather your strength and tools. If you feel heavy, if your carrying a weight of negativity, envy, ego, bad habits, negative self-talk, etc, then take that weight off.

Let Go of....
  • Distractions
  • Rumination (Overthinking)
  • Excessive TV watching
  • Bad habits
  • Bad company
  • Fear
  • Negative Influences
  • And anything that is weighing your relationship down
We all have different levels of comfort and we all have a "comfort zone" we resist to expand. However, self-change and reaching outside of the level of comfort can only lead to greater opportunities and the benefit will exceed the challenge. Conquer it!
